Welcome to the Orchard Life
Hilltop Orchard is a small independent orchard located 25 miles from Columbia in New Franklin, Missouri. Originally the orchard was owned and operated by the Huffstutters since 1958.
In 2000 the Huffstutters opened the orchard as "U-Pick" orchard. In 2022 Terry and Amanda Gibson purchased the orchard to continue the tradition.
The orchard consist of 26 varieties of apples in the 700 trees, 5 varieties of peaches in 200 trees, pears, apricots, and nectarines.
At Hilltop Orchard, we believe in the simple joys of farm life—picking apples straight from the tree, sharing stories under the sun, and welcoming folks like family. As a family-owned and operated orchard, our mission is to keep old traditions alive, care for the land, and offer a place where people can slow down, reconnect, and make memories that last a lifetime.
